About

My Approach

An essential truth is normally revealed when we strip back all unnecessary information and look at what is central to a person’s being.
Each individual is unique and needs to be treated in a personalized way.”
– Frida Lezius

My approach to healing is based on the rhythms and laws of nature. Harmony is a visual indication of good health. Blocks in the body’s harmony are visible, once identified they can be targeted and removed. The body tells the story as we inhabit it with our feelings, thoughts and energy.

My starting point of harmonizing the body is its posture. In a process of rebalancing inner attitude and outer posture we can reach for our goals.
A bit about my personal history may illuminate, why I developed this complete nature-based healing system of Body Mapping. Born in Germany, I had from childhood clear sight and a gift of seeing energy. A keen athlete I had to overcome a physical limitation from birth and researched already at a young age. After my Bachelor in Visual Art and Communication I migrated to Australia.
As Western medicine proved to have its limitations to me, I started researching and studying Eastern Healing Techniques amongst them, Yoga, Breath Work and Meditation across the Indian-Asian hemisphere. In 2004 I began to develop the Body Mapping System. I studied Remedial Therapy and posture to confirm and compare Western and Eastern knowledge.

I work as an “interpreter” between my patient’s body and mind.
My experience in a vast variety of cultures allows me to include – besides the physical and mental/emotional aspects, facets of cultural heritage and gender that clearly influence our health and well-being.

I treat each person in an individual way, healing and teaching tools unique to their personal progress. I have a wealth of other great therapists to refer to if additional support is needed.

The Body Nature System allows not only to see the true cause of discomfort but also to take the most direct and natural approach.

Personal Vision & Background

From a young age I could see harmony, disharmony  and energy in bodies and their posture. The study of life drawing and Art made me ‘see’ the human body and its emotional expression even clearer. I discovered that ways of thinking and feeling are expressed long term in posture.

My study of communication systems, Yoga and Anatomy made me understand that physical alignment is intrinsically connected to mental habits. In 2004 I developed the unique Body Mapping Process. In drawing my client’s body, I deliver not only a detailed posture assessment, but also visualize the energetic expression of a person’s mental-emotional field.
After the mapping I develop a logical, simply structured plan serving as a map towards recreating good health and a state of balance. My vision is for my clients and students for them to return to their naturally aligned state.

A lot of illnesses can be actually reversed or treated by integrating the simple and essential principles and laws of nature. This approach enables a sense of self-empowerment and learning.

My programs involve a simple, easy-to-use body-mind tool kit Cultivating freedom and independence is an essential part of the Body Nature Philosophy.

Somatic Communication & Body Mapping

“Somatic communication lies within a territory of experience, which is not identified clearly as either only Mind or only Body.”
“Somatic communication lies within a territory of experience, which is not identified clearly as either only Mind or only Body.”

Somatic communication is the communication, that takes place between body and mind, where the different layers of physical existence and consciousness are concerned. For example, the communication between the ‘Emotional Field’ and the physical body.

The human system is a connective communication system, as all layers from gross body parts to subtle mind forms need to communicate in order to function harmoniously. Therefore connection is the deciding factor in the well-functioning of the human system.
The Body Mapping Process is the visual and psychological reading of the connective quality of a system. Visual form, shape, proportion, symmetries, coloring, and structure are placed into the context of the emotional and mental expression of a person. Posture and form become a somatic storytelling tool that allows deep insight into a person’s capacity to communicate within their body-mind system. Following the Eastern view of Ayurveda, Yoga and Chinese Medicine on health, it is defined as the uninterrupted flow of energy.

Body Mapping can not only reveal existing communication breaks but also point out the most logical and direct approach to healing or bridging communication breaks as the Body Mind System is a cohesive system and interruptions can be revealed through visual keys.
